Bitter Orange Essential Oil has been around for centuries but Neroli Essential Oil was not discovered until the seventeenth century. The oil was named after Princess Anna Maria de la Tremoille of Nerola who loved the fragrant orange blossom scent and introduced it to Italy. The properties of the oil were extremely valued by the people of Venice who used it against plague and fevers. Both Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte were said to have loved Neroli Essential Oil, using it every day as a fragrance or aftershave. It takes approximately 100 lbs of blossoms to produce 1 lb of Neroli essential oil. Neroli Essential Oil has an exquisite sweet, floral citrus aroma. Glass bottle with tamper proof closure and removable dropper.
