Davana is a small plant with the oil coming from the stems and leaves. Each day, the faithful in India offer Davana blossoms to Shiva, the god of Transformation. The flowers remain on his altar throughout the day and are removed in the evening.
The scent of Davana Essential Oil is difficult to express because it smells very different on each individual. The descriptions tend to alternate between a rather masculine floral scent to a stong sweet, balsamic aroma.
